Russia’s Evraz plans to import rails to Europe from 2016
MOSCOW, Mar 24 (PRIME) -- The U.K.-based steel and mining giant Evraz, which operates mainly in Russia, plans to start export of rail-tracks to Europe in 2016, Irina Romanovskaya, Evraz’ director for transport leasing, told reporters on Tuesday.
“We plan to launch supplies to Europe in 2016, as we have received a long-awaited TSI certificate, which will allow us to participate in tenders in all countries of the world successfully,” she said, adding that at the moment the company is undergoing a Deutsche Bahn certification.
The company also operates actively on Asian markets and in Latin America, Romanovskaya said.
